Vaadin 24 allows you to build modern web applications entirely in Java, simplifying development by eliminating the need to learn additional languages or frameworks.

In this session, we’ll explore the latest features of Vaadin 24, including enhanced UI components, improved tools, and seamless integration with the Java ecosystem. We’ll look into:

  • Utilize Vaadin’s UI components data binding and tools to develop web applications.
  • Learn how Vaadin server-side architecture ensures secure communication and state synchronization
  • How to enhance your applications by integrating third-party components and APIs.

This session is for Java developers interested in full-stack web application development. Join us to learn how to create stunning web user interfaces using your existing Java skills.

Speaker: Sami Ekblad

Sami Ekblad is an original team member at Vaadin, dedicated to “empowering developers to build cool things.” He is an experienced web application developer who has crafted web applications and reusable components for Vaadin and other frameworks. An open-source enthusiast and conference speaker, Sami is currently working on a software-hardware project for his sailing boat. Talk to him about innovative web technologies, hardware hacking, or sailing adventures.
